Sonic X
One of the greatest anime shows ever to hit the screen, inspired some great kids games.Many people sometimes ask me, what is Sonic X? Its a popular anime series which is based on the sonic the hedgehog game. Of course, it was made in Japan by the very talented TMS entertainment, who joined together with the creators of the sonic games. It contains many characters from the game and lots of similar plotline.
All the secondary characters include amy rose, dr eggman, knuckles, milkes, cream the rabit, and rouge the bat. It arrived in the states just a few years ago in 2003. Much of the story and music was changed for an american audience. What does this mean exactly? It was made both lighter and younger. You could say it was made into more of a childrens show. You can still see the Japanese writing at many points in the show, in the background.
The American producers of Sonic X did not use the same voice actors which did the sonic games, they actually used their own voice actors in house. This didn't exactly go over so well, as many people thought it was badly dubbed. Most would agree the original jap version of Sonic X was better. Keep in mind the producer actually admitted to never playing the game or reading the comics, so he didn't have a feel for the original sonic the hedgehog.
Three seasons were released, each one containing some good stories and ends as a cliffhanger. Maybe they are planning on coming out with Sonic Z? Anyways the show inspired many games which are mostly puzzle games for kids. Good entertainment they provide.
